Reader comment on item: Something Rotten in Denmark?

"It would be wonderful if we could my friend, but I am afraid those of us who feel this way and are beyond the fed up point are not in the 'Fortune 500' groups. The ones with power and money , for whatever reason, want this..I wish I knew the method to their madness."

I wish the same too. And maybe that's a start?

Ghandi so truly said:

"It may be long before the law of love will be recognized in international affairs. The machineries of government stand between and hide the hearts of one people from those of another."

I think it's in the best interest of a few who prosper from all the evil in the world to keep the chaos and disconnect going as long as possible, and it's normal people like you and me who are left in the midst of it all trying to understand and not lose our sanity in the process. Ghandi also said " evolution of democracy is not possible if we are not prepared to hear the other side". I think he was a great man. Look at what he achieved through peaceful protesting - I wish more people from my side of the world learnt from him, and I wish more people from your side of the world tried to "hear the other side" .

Danish/American I wish you and yours health and happiness, and in the middle of all this confusion (even though we may not always agree) , let's agree to disagree and to respect one another my Danish American fellow human.

On a lighter note, have you read the book or seen the movie "House of Sand and Fog"? I just finished reading the book and saw the movie a few days ago and thought it was really good - I know this is totally out of context, but does this all have to be so serious & political? *smile*.
