You are missing a crucial point. The word "infidel" means "one who does not believe." So why be surprised, shocked, hurt and violent when infidels show that indeed they do NOT believe in Mahomet?

You can adduce all the stories you like about Mahomet and how perfect he was. I do not believe them. My reading of history shows him to be a violent, petulant, dictatorial, abusive, self-regarding, lustful, arrogant, avaricious, hypersensitive, evil man. And no amount of your special pleading and whining will make me believe your fairy tales.

Get used to it, Muslims: The unbelievers do not accept your myths. You can threaten us, murder us, conquer us and force the survivors to pretend that they believe your lying fairy-tales, but slavery does not mean acquiescence. ...
