All one has to do is compare Pakistan to India. They both started at exactly the same time (I'm thinking of the Partition, when I say that) yet look at how much India has grown and how far Pakistan has regressed. I think that this observation says it all - after all, the only reason Pakistan gave us any co-operation in the hunt for al-qaeda is because they were paid to. A backwards, mercenary culture that needs to be hemmed in and contained.

Why import their troubles when there are decent Hindus & Sikhs out there who would happily take their place and who have a work ethic that puts the rest of us to shame. Why do we never hear of these groups causing such atrocities when they come from roughly the same geographical region? They've certainly been victims themselves re the terrorism that they face re Kashmir, etc. So it's obviously not race that is the root of this problem but culture. And it's one that we just don't need. 9 times out of 10 when Europeans talk about the 'peaceful' Muslims that they know they are basing their assumption of religious creed on skin colour and referring to somebody who happens to belong to a different faith altogether! Skin tone is not a badge of membership - just an indicator of probability.

To all those British Asians out there, who do not belong to the Muslim faith, you have my sympathies for any difficulties that this present situation is causing you. You are often the 'forgotten' casualties in clashes of cultures such as this - but I see this as a great opportunity to create stronger bonds based on a mutual distaste for the present situation which will hopefully go some way to making life better for all of us once we have dealt with the Muslim Menace. Hang on in there, Dinesh!!
