Reader comment on item: Something Rotten in Denmark?

Submitted by Frank Oddersborg (Denmark), Feb 7, 2006 at 17:04

You see thats the main problem, YOU dont have the right to do so, WE do!

Our laws doesnt say anything about debating Muhammed, Islam or as in the cartoon case "whenever there is some self-censorship in Denmark towards specieal groups of the population IN DENMARK?).

As you know, the court in Denmark has established that there is no case aganst the artists as they were merely exercising their freedom of speach.

Peace-loving muslims?, why is it then that you're doing little (or nothing) to stop the fanatic muslims in causing such damage to the image of Islam as a "peace loving religion"?

The truth? once again you manage with a final note in your statement to show how narrow minded you are.
The truth is only truth to those who believe. YOUR truth doesnt apply to me as i'm not muslim. My truth (if one can call it for truth rather than point of view) is Darwin and science. Dont speak about truth as if you own it!

If you want to debate in a civilized way please refrain from religious statements as only a few give a darn (other muslims and you allready seems to share YOUR truth).

See a picture of muhammed, this is not to hurt your feelings but merely to exercise my freedom and thats what freedom is all about: If something seems wrong to publish - then put it on the frontpage!
