Reader comment on item: Something Rotten in Denmark?
in response to reader comment: respect

Submitted by Hind Samy (Egypt), Feb 6, 2006 at 07:36

I read Aisha's comments and didn't find anything offending in them?

All I have been trying to say through all this is that not all Muslims condone the killing, beheading, burning of anything. Don't stereotype.

I believe in peaceful protest if something offends anyone. We are free to be angry and protest (via peaceful means).

I respect and understand if you're angry if people burn your flag or threaten your embassy, I would be too. It's wrong in my personal opinion.

I am not going to go out and insult or kill or burn people's flags - if I meet a Dane today or any time I will not pick a fight with them, I have no bad feelings towards Danes or any people really. My problem is with hate mongers that only serve to flame an already bad situation.
