Cartoons of Holocaust?

Reader comment on item: Something Rotten in Denmark?
in response to reader comment: FREEDOMS

A frequent question posed by the ignorant is as to whether Danes publishing 'cartoons' of The Holocaust is 'equal' to Muslims publishing cartoons of their Prophet. Is this stupidity genuine?

The two issues would only be related if the Danish cartoons portrayed images of the Eqyptian ferry disaster, or Abu Graib, or some other tragedy, etc.

Unless, of course, these people are subconciously in agreement that The Prophet is a tragedy for mankind and therefore regard these cartoons as images mocking this tragedy. If this is the case, and the only other explanation that occurs to me is blind stupidity on their part, then 'yes' this would be an 'equal' form of retaliation...

...PS. How is it that Muslims ALWAYS manage to involve Jews in these 'plots'!
