Most people such as myself PITY people who have not the luxury of living free in the west. We see people who live in despot regimes such as Guatemala and Syria and we say "I want a better living for these people".

We ask our governments to let the poor and oppressed in to our western home so that mercy can be granted to them. It is an act of conscious generosity.

It is true that many corporations and businesses also prosper from the skill and labor of the 3rd world immigrant, yet the popular reason of PITY, Generosity, Mercy still set the government to these acts.

And now we of the West see our good works repaid with resentment instead of appreciation, envy instead of brotherhood, and contempt instead of humility. Such is the sad and shameful behavior of our Islamic guests.
