The editor of the French newspaper that decided to print the cartoons has been fired by the owner by now.

"Jyllands Posten" from Denmark which triggered of this affair has received two bomb
threats in 24 hours.

Apart from that, it is interesting to note that no British newspaper was courageous enough to publish the cartoons.

Normally they are not so reluctant to insult religious leaders:
