My country have witnessed colonialisation by terrorist states for centuries. The Portuguese invaded and occupied us for 3 centuries, Dutch for 2 centuries and Brits for 1 century.

Locals were murdered, women raped, children slaughtered, houses and mosques and temples torn down to build forts, tax forced on locals. Look guys, just by being democratic countries nowadays can't erase your sins in the past. Period.=

I intensely dislike the allocation of collective responsibility. Whatever the sins of Individuals in the past, what makes an individual in the 21st Century responsible for them?

I don't deny that colonisation was a disease and brought out the worst of humanity.

How though, is it logical in your mind to blame other individuals in Denmark, Britain or Portugal for the decisions made by their ancestors? It is a very primitive way of thinking.
