I'd say the main problem here is the law. The Islamic law is a terrible disgrace and it is supposed to be applied where Muslims are a majority (there is some dispute among Muslim jurists as to what that "majority" ought to be, but all agree on the principle). And in Europe, the "Muslim majority" is something we can see coming. If Islam is not profoundly reformed when what I'd call the "Medina Threshold" will be reached, Europe will sink.
