Good Idea, Not likely to happen

Reader comment on item: Two Germans vs. Islamism

I, too, salute their creativity and courage, but I will celebrate when I learn that these measures have actually been implemented. It is likely that these, like all other potential measures to defend and preserve Western culture, will be sacked by the self-hating, left-wing multiculturalists, who in Germany and throughout Europe remain dedicated to committing civilizational suicide and to forcibly silencing all who dare to object. I can hear the resounding cries of "racism", "bigotry", "Islamophobia" bouncing off the slopes of the Alps.

Multiculturalism is doomed to failure for so many reasons I could never list them all. The social engineers responsible for the multicultural experiment, and the politicians, intelligentsia, and media that have shoved this anathema down the throat of the West, deserve to live the remainder of their miserable lives right smack in the middle of their glorious creation, instead of safely sequestered in the fortified sanctity of their ivory towers. There are some lovely housing projects in London and Paris where they could experience firsthand the majestic tapestry of diversity while pondering the intellectual profundity of moral/cultural/ religious relativity and the ethos of self-destruction.
