Right to retaliate

Reader comment on item: Two Germans vs. Islamism
in response to reader comment: Will World War IV begin in Germany as well?

Dear Filipino Liberal,

Perhaps you have forgotten the chain of events. Perhaps I have. Can you please remind us what America did to deserve Sept 11 without the right to retaliate?

If you would like to blame US for their participation in Afghanistan during the occupation of Russian forces, which resulted in the recruitment of jihadi warriors and the subsequent abadonment, you have to blame Islamic countries for their own participation. It wasn't a war that America started. It wasn't American soldiers. It was American weapons and funds. That's how all these terrors have their roots.

Can you please remind us what the terms and conditions were for Osama and the Al Qaeda demand before they stop what they are doing?

Since you believe that US had no reight to retaliate when an enemy destroyed the lives of more than 3,500 innocents and the WTC, can you please elaborate the injustices US had made to deserve it.

Awaiting your liberal thoughts.
