Immigrants must adapt

Reader comment on item: Something Rotten in Denmark?

I was forwarded this article by a friend, and have read all of the posts....

I find it amusing we are so naive that when an article like this is printed readers demand "the source" of the information, but when Muslim immigrants are portrayed as peace-loving victims of prejudice, the "evil, right-wing Christians" are immediately convicted in readers' minds.

I want proof that Muslim immigrants are assimilating into the cultures of their new countries, (of course with the SOURCE of THAT information quoted).

Immigrants must adapt. Furthermore, when one chooses to leave their country for another, they should WANT to adapt. The terror attacks of September 11, 2001 are all the proof anyone should need to know that anything less is a security threat to a nation.

Repeat: Immigrants must adapt. It's not easy, nor is it comfortable. It's just the way the world is. Do it, and get over it! The reason for the move is of no importance. By the way, when one migrates to a free country, peace-loving religion does not have to be lost in this process.

Of course, we all want to live in peace and harmony, but not at the expense of our very lives. Just because we have been able to lay our heads down in peace at night for decades, let us not forget that our ancestors had to fight to win and maintain the freedoms we enjoy and take for granted every day. Well, it's starting to look like the fight is not over....I have heard it said many times that nothing is forever.

And yes, let us take the a look at the violent history of the Muslim religion as told by their own: http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/history/chronology/index.html

If this isn't an eye-opener, what is?!

Why isn't this information all over the place?? Mr. Pipes, why haven't I seen you on every news show in America?
