Exercise in Futility - Determining Rationale of Basic Human Nature - And Why Mankind is its Own Worst Enemy

Reader comment on item: How Ukrainian Refugees Could Inadvertently Erase the West

For those who know, migration of the human race is an ages old manifestation of human nature, of the desires to see where life may be lived to the fullest and doing so where it is the safest from outside interference. But there is a problem; not all that are born to women are naturally predisposed to appropriating that lifestyle. Factors of environment and innate murmurings of developing conscienceness sometimes develops an alternative presence of mind that tends towards a more aggressive approach to the world and its causes and effects for many who then react in the more problematic situation of now, how does one control the pride of such men (and women) for the sake of protecting the others. And if not, then the self-preserving response to flee is reached. This is not limited to physical threats; economic factors are engaged as well. This occured in ancient times; in the modern context, it occured when Marxist ideologies merged in the Soviet takeover of the former Russian imperialitic governance and fear was used to manipulate vast Russian and related Slavic (as well as other ethnic groups and seen in later) populations and it is now morphed in reintroduction to the Ukrainians.
Similar inductions of Marxist manipulations around the world have been adopted by continuing predatory predelictions of those individuals and corporate mentalities that population control is necessary to be expressed because like the wolf hunters they've become, they see that like sheep, large domesticated populations are easy targets to be exploited.
As if this is not difficult enough for those who seek only to live in peace, one of the few places that peace is sought is in faith that 'religious' expressions can be a calming reassurance, only to find that 'religion' is exploited as well and finding true religion, the basis for internal peace, becomes a question of finding that love. Otherwise, it does devolve into an exercise of futility. Then the option to flee makes more sense and the search for that self-fulfilling sense of peace in love sends one searching (migrating) for that fulfillment.
The problem is that while one may voluntarily initiate that search, history shows that it is more often compelled when the secularist and anti-religionist wolves are scent searching for victims to satiate the irrational desires of the corrupted nature of coveteouness; and peaceful populations are too tempting to resist. Of such is the bane of modern civilization and mankind is its own worst enemy when not all want peace because it requires sacrifice of the self, as it always has.
