Reader comment on item: Something Rotten in Denmark?

The analysis by Daniel Pipes here is set forth clearly and with due concern for the facts. It is immaterial "that not all of Denmark's Muslims are radical Islamists". While that point may be true, the small population of extremists are in fact aided immeasurably by the Muslim community at large. There is almost no willingness by the Muslim populations of Europe to assimilate into their chosen countries. Muslim populations across the western world repeatedly show greater interest in shielding radical factions in the name of "Muslim Solidarity", then they do in upholding the laws and values of host countries.

The most dangerous fallacy that can be indulged is to believe that radical Islam is the only danger. Forced Marriages, Honor Killings, Anti-Semitic incitement, and social Balkanization are also deadly, underestimated threats to western civilization. The symptoms are present: Muslim immigration without assimilation is the disease: foolish multi-cultural dogma propagated by fantasists of the myriad left are the vectors of this disease.

It has taken 2000 years of painful, tragic lessons to breed a western civlization that is open, tolerant, and free. The misguided ideas of the European elites, obviously guilt-racked by the legacy of colonialism, will allow European society itself to be colonized. The tragedy is that as a whole, the colonizing culture is the one failed culture on earth today: replete with hatred, brutality, racism, sexism, tribalism, fanaticism, and jingoism.
