Reader comment on item: Something Rotten in Denmark?
in response to reader comment: Swedish people cold, racist and have no feelings

Swedes are the coldest, weirdest people I've had the misfourtune of being involved with. I was engaged to a Swedish man who constantly professed his love and admiration of me. For four years he stood by my side until I almost finished my PhD and then one day said he just couldn't do it anymore and didn't know if he loved me. He spent about 10 minutes answering my questions with "I dunno" and never talked to me again. He has send me one EMAIL since and of course I haven't replied because an email is way too little effort from him and he doesn't understand why I'm shocked anyway. It's like talking to a wall.

Thank God I will not have to see pictures of his nearly breast-less mother topless in his home anymore. They are emotionless robots!

I write this in part so that people start learning how empty a Swedish relationship is. Don't even ask questions when you want to understand... it's useless!
