I find the entire Islamic religion to be...militarized? Yes, militarized is a good description, and yet the Western World, or should I specify that certain segments of our Medias and governments refuse to acknowledge the beast that is arising before us.

I'm heartened that Mr. Pipes refuses to kowtow to the media's perpetration of the lie that Islam is a "peaceful" religion. With in the fourteen hundred years of Islamic history, I ask this one simple question to the media, "If Islam is so damnably peaceful, when has Islam had a twenty-five year period of peace?"

Islam was founded in blood, spread in blood, and its history and its faith is steeped in blood. Islams history could be characterized as a butchers yard of corpses, and we all turn a blind eye to the yard, hold our noses, and call it a "peaceful religion," in the hopes of what? That the Muslims will all turn a new leaf and say, "Hey, it was all an insane mistake, we're better now"
You will note that I'm not holding my breath.

Good job, Mr. Pipes, in bringing the one thing the Islamisist and the media can't stand, to light, the truth. I may not have agreed with you on a few things, but I do respect your courage in this article.
