Were someone to suggest ti split Sweden into Sverige and Norrland, separating the potential ethnic traces of, say Laplanders or other predecessor populations for the sake of community détente, is that an appropriate circumstance to be considered? Now, recognizing that the history of Sweden is not so radically composed as Israel, the fact remains that Sweden might very well be connected with Denmark or Norway were it not for the intentions of the monarchies of the past coming to peaceful terms.

Such a solution for the region of the Middle East known as Israel and the surrounding territories does not offer such a simple solution for a variety of reasons; but the most compelling being that those who are in the surrounding territories and indeed many within the confines of Israel are not so inclined. In Islamic revolution parlance, peace with Israel is not an option. It is in the charters of the very organization that are afoot with mischief and calumny directed toward Israel for the implicit and declared intention to destroy Israel. Did the Danes make such a declaration when their times were faced with separation?

There are deeper divisions of ideologies and philosophies represented in Israel and the surrounding political entities that defy any sense of compatibility, such that it is declared by the Islamic antagonists that Israel is not to be recognized by certain of her enemies and that the process of partition will be viewed by such enemies as merely a step to full elimination of Israel altogether.

In plain language, it will not work because it would require something Israel's enemies will never accede to: love of Israel. Instead, as it is written, the Almighty God who has declared His love for Israel will be her champion; and that is what will eventually lead to the peace of Jerusalem that all her supporters pray for.
