Reader comment on item: Israel's Arabs, Living a Paradox
in response to reader comment: Mr. Pipes Do not you think you still live in the ideas of the past

In the continuous process of trying to make Israel out to be an apartheid state in order to effect an isolationist mentality towards Israel is, in reality, an indictment of the delusion that Israel is like any other nation in the world, ostensibly for making its eradication more easily consumable by the anti-Semitic sentiments in the face of Israel's true supporters. The problem for those is this: they still cannot embrace the existence of Israel in the face of any opposition, a side effect for those that would love for the holocaust to be a myth, but cannot eradicate the overwhelming evidence that it did happen, at the world's hands.

That we find this sentiment coming from that part of the world once held under sway by the Muslim empire of ages past and now under the influences of the resurgent Islamic revolution is a point not to be lost. But the further point to be made is that there is still no understanding of what is going to happen. Trying in accusatory tones of disaffection in placing the assertions of Dr. Pipes' observation of the Muslim ideology on its path to seeking world domination only lends credence that Dr. Pipes is correct; and ironically so.

After all, is not true Islam based upon a book of the past?
