Pipes, as usual, is on to something, but his solution is problematic. Drawing borders creates a 2 state solution, giving up on settling all of Israel - essentially the Lieberman plan. Why not support programs, overt and covert, that get Arabs to leave since this is essentially the issue. More Aliyah and smart govt. action could solve the issue. Pay each Arab family to leave, do not allow Arab Aliyah through marriage etc., and do not grant citizenship to the Arabs in the territories. Status quo + plus more building and action.

If you had been around in 1949 you would have told Israel to draw borders, not knowing that we would soon have Jerusalem and a Jewish majority there...
