question for "Imam Ahmed Muhammed"

Reader comment on item: Keith Ellison, Where Are You?
in response to reader comment: Why I became a Muslim

Dear Dr Pipes:

Your reader Imam Ahmed Muhammed states why he became a Muslim. He writes down many admirable things that he finds in his new religion. My question for him is when he read about Islam and found itto be so good, did he also find any doctrinal shortcomings in the religion. Specifically, I am not interested in any frailties that Muhammed might have found in Muslims for those frailties can always be blamed on human weaknesses. I am interested in any shortcomings in Islamic doctrine that Muhammed found.

For his information, followers of most other religions see shortcomings in their religions and adjust their interpretation of them to account for those shortcomings. Is Muhammed willing to do the same with his new found religion?
