The Bering Strait theory is just that: a theory. And it doesn't explain the evidene of Native Americans extant here before the timeline of the theory.

Chinese Muslims are not called Uighers. Uyghurs are Turkic people who settled in part in China. The majority of Chinese Muslims are ethic Chinese . Other groups include the Hui, Tajiks, Dongxiang, Salar, Kyrgyz, and Kazakh...and Salaf/Wahhabi

And the point remains that the word "islamist" is made up...
