Jefferson's Quran

Reader comment on item: Keith Ellison, Where Are You?
in response to reader comment: Jefferson's koran

It's a shame that the PC media did not report what you just said, that Jefferson owed the Quran to study and understand his enemy that was attacking America's shipping in the Mediterranean (Marine song "to the shores of Tripoli"). Since 9/11, I have obtained a copy of the Quran for the same reason, to understand the enemy and why he does what he does.

If Keith Ellison believes all the verses in the Quran and that his Allah wrote them, he cannot be a loyal American, period. Suras 9-5, 9-29, and 5-51 are three Suras that call for slaying the pagans and fighting Christians and Jews until they submit (with willing submission) and that Muslims are not to make friends with Christians and Jews. Now that covers all of us except maybe 1% who are Muslim. A fundamental believer in the Quran cannot be a loyal American citizen. And for a Muslim to believe that it is the word of Allah...that limits what one can believe or not believe, doesn't it?

What does Ellison believe?...Or any American Muslim for that matter?

I agree with Geert Wilders. The Quran should be put on the same status as Hitler's Mein Kampf for its hateful, violent Suras. It's the root cause of Islamic terrorist actions.
