Dr. Pipes has changed viewpoints and possibly History.

Reader comment on item: Once considered anti-Islam, senior scholar says he's now in the middle

I believe that Middle East Forum Members all care about Freedom and Justice, (We do have this in common.) We have been lucky to have a very Rational scholar, professor, and Historian (Dr. Pipes) who has given us the information necessary to know and understand the Muslim religion and the truth about many facets of that religion.

Dr. Pipes has also established an organization and a website, where discussion is encouraged, getting different viewpoints, and bringing out truths that many people have been shocked to read about. No rational person wants to see Sharia Law instituted in their country. Once again we see Islam as a dominate force who imposes its views, religions, and extreme measures on innocent people. We welcome the discussions and challenges. I have to give Dr. Pipes credit, I have never seen him Irrational, Mean spirited, or Impolite, even to his Islamic challengers. He is level headed, thoughtful, and factual, and his arguments always win based on Facts!
