On becoming a Muslim WarriorReader comment on item: 'Become a Muslim warrior' Submitted by Kim Bruce (Canada), Jul 23, 2010 at 12:00 Another rule of thumb, legally speaking, when dealing with Muslims is this; An alternative spelling for "Muslim" that is occasionally used is "Moslem"; it is not recommended because it is often pronounced "mawzlem": which sounds like an Arabic word for "oppressor". I prefer the word Moslem and use it regularly in my vocabulary now. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
