"Teaching" Islam to 7th GradersReader comment on item: 'Become a Muslim warrior' Submitted by Channa (United States), Jul 2, 2002 at 23:48 Unlike Mr Bush, I do not subscribe to the belief that Islam is a good and loving religion, nothing could be further from the truth!... The religion includes such statements as "Do not take a Christian for a friend" and "all Jews are Pigs and apes", "kill a Jew whereever you can find him"... hmmm .. And that is a good and loving religion?? (I am curious to know what constitute a hateful religion?)Maybe I am naive, but not naive enough to know hate when I see it! ... Don't parents have a duty to oversee their children's education? Do they not have a right to demand what is taught to their children? Are they happy with that sort of education? I shudder at the thought! The world Muslims (all 1+ billions, that is one sixth of the entire planet population) have one thing in mind...the total global conversion to Islam; they will not settle for less! In fact, 9-11 was a reminder of the extent they will go in order to achieve their goal... Mr. Pipes, I am in agreement with you, 100%!... PS: (Please excuse my many mispellings, I am a French native, have become an American Citizen by choice, yet my English is still very broken. Thank you :-) Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
