We should not be silent any longerReader comment on item: 'Become a Muslim warrior' Submitted by Moonwalker (United States), Jul 3, 2002 at 11:18 this article illustrates the problem that the right has. We are always too willing to try to be fair and open minded...to see the other side's point of view. In doing so, I am convinced that our inability to rise up angrily is dulled, our protests are muted, we dither in uncertainty, afraid to be castigated, and we do little but rant about how unfair it all is.The school boards where this program is taking place need to be told by the parents in no uncertain terms that hey will be sued if they present this blatant proseltyzing tripe. Period. No negotiating, no listening to the nonsense of "cultural diversity". We must all help in this. One tactic i have found useful is to simply laugh at anyone who espouses that nonsense...just laugh and shake your head. Anger is another response. It will only get worse...more programs like this one, ones pushing gay issues, ones ignoring the true history of our great country are common. We should not be silent any longer. Just jump in and do your part. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
