Teaching Muslim Faith in SchoolReader comment on item: 'Become a Muslim warrior' Submitted by T. Putnam (United States), Jul 8, 2002 at 07:41 Dr. Pipes,I agree, If we cannot teach the Bible in school, why should we allow the Quran to be taught? This is just another example of people allowing things in school that never should be. If I knew that my son would be exposed to the Islamic faith this way in school he would definitely be home-schooled. Our son will be raised as a Christian, and he can choose whether or not to remain so as an adult. I sincerely hope he will. I will not have him exposed to what I consider no more than the world's oldest cult for any amount of money. If the Bible is to be believed, and I believe that it is the inerrant word of God, then Ishmael was not the benefactor of God's blessing but Isaac, the true son. Isaac began the lineage of Israel. Like I said, Islam is no more than a cult, and a very dangerous one at that. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
