Nothing new in textbook propagandaReader comment on item: 'Become a Muslim warrior' Submitted by Doody Kaminskie (United States), Jul 3, 2002 at 12:38 In 1967 when Israel took over the West Bank, Gaza strip and the Golan Heights, the finding that interested me the most was the school textbooks in all the newly captured areas. The math books where for example: "If you have 10 Jews and 4 are killed by our holy fighters how many Jews are left?" So, that was in 1967 and I saw it with my own eyes. I was living in Israel at this time. I my opinion, nothing has changed, and because of our openness to an unfamiliar culture, we allow these crimes to continue. Our American problem is our so call isolation and thinking that we know it all. We don't know a thing. We don't understand their mentality, yet we're trying to be their friends and showing the choice of freedom. And where there's freedom, if we don't put the brakes on, there we'll lose our freedom. Thanks again Dr. Pipes for that important information, and keep up the good work. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
