This is appalling

Reader comment on item: 'Become a Muslim warrior'

I find this absolutely appalling. However I am not surprised. For many years militant Islam has been taught and spread through the most dangerous of places, our nation's prison system. Imams have taught violent criminals to rationalize their hatred and focus it on our country. This indoctrination of our young people, who want nothing more than to feel included in something important, is simply another step.

Islam is a religion that conquers. It always has been and always will be. It is not a faith that promotes peace and tolerance, otherwise the acutely devoted people of the Middle East would the most peaceful and tolerant of anyone. The exact opposite is true.

September 11th was a wake up call. It could very well have been worse. Those planes could very well have been Ryder trucks with nuclear devices. Don't let people kid you otherwise. The war we have entered into is a fight for the future of Western Civilization against an enemy more terrifying and insidious than even the Soviets.
