There are many aspects to Hinduism. When Some people are not allowed in a Pool or a Temple it is because the temple or the pool was made by people of one "Ethnic" Domain who do not share it with others for good or bad reason. This is not an aspect of Hinduism, but an aspect of a much different cultural and political phenomenon. Definitely with current sensibility that becomes a Bad reality but that is exactly why India is shedding of such cruelty. However that is also a manifestation of the fact that Everybody lives in India and nobody is wiped out or driven out of the Place. Christian world has always done that, Slavery had been the way of life in the Christian as well as Islamic world. Also for e.g. Jews faced extermination right under Pop's nose. Please read more about the Christian and Islamic history and see how easily human live has been sacrificed for there Agenda's through out history. On the other hand India is the land where vegetarianism started as a way of live. A respect for the smallest life form (Jainism) was felt. Remarkable ideas for integration of Human, nature and cosmos were concieved. Vedas, Upanishads, Geeta they are very secular texts and if you read through them you will know what We are talking about here. Forget about everything else Just try to learn a bit of sanskrit and you will know if such a precise and correct language was created by people in ancient india, what must be the depth of ideas for which this language was created. It is easy to discard Hinduism today by buying out what Christian Missionaries have to sell. But Believe me do not discard you own history without knowing about it. Neverthless Hinduism promises you your rights to live your life the way you want, not surprising to have the only secular country in the third world owes itself to Hinduism.

FYI: I include so called western 'wise distinct Hindu, Jain, Bhudhist and Sikh religion as one and the same thing.
