Reader comment on item: Predicting the 2008 U.S. Presidential Election
in response to reader comment: We deserve the better of two men

What I am appalled at Mr. Banks is one such as yourself, who has defended his country (who we remain in your debt for that....thank you), would support someone such as Obama in a position as your Commander and Chief that has the history he does.

It absolutly baffles me Mr. Banks. But yes, if all those things came true, it would change my mind. If he could do all that (not probable) w/out broaching my civil rights (again, not probable, especially w/ the agenda he has and record of attacking the first and second amendments), w/out feeding us to the wolves as is probable, it would change my mind. But there is a very LARGE impassable if in there.

It also baffles me that anyone would want there Commander-in-Chief to be someone who has never served in the armed forces himself. But that is another topic all together.

So what happens Mr. Banks if everything WE believe will happen happens? What if our worst fears are realized (and I seriously hope they won't. I hope things go the way you think, but agian, probably not). Are the 65 million who voted him in liable for treason? Hmmm

Good luck w/ your new Commander-in-Chief Mr. Banks.
