US citizens should admit the misdeeds of their own politicians

Just as the muslims have the habit of putting the blame for their miseries on non-muslims so too the US citizens have the habit of putting the blame on the others (preferrably the UN).
Did Reagan not compare the taliban with the founding fathers of the USA?
Why did you not send Saddam milk powder packets instead of dollars?
A US university (I think U. of Nebraska) send books to the taliban schools depicting the greatness of islam and its cruel warriors with arithmetic tasks about killing russian soldiers and how many remain after the killing and so on ... to teach afghan children addition and subtraction.

Blinded by rabid capitalism and anti-communism and vengeance for the defeat in Vietnam, the USA became a destructive wisdom-less nation, especially under republican administrations.
