enough whining

Reader comment on item: Something Rotten in Denmark?

Submitted by K. (United States), Feb 24, 2004 at 08:35

I grew up as a foreigner in Scandinavia and now live in the US and I certainly think that Denmark's shift to the right is by no means desirable, but understandable given the fact the many Danes feel that their kindness and tolerance has been totally abused by a mainly Muslim immigrant population.

Danes especially have in the past been much kinder to foreigners than other Europeans and now many Danes feel that their good-will has been taken advantage of by a number of "Danish Muslims" who just don't care about the country and its people and see no need whatsoever to assimilate.

I find that pretty disgusting and I am sick and tired of hearing Muslims in Denmark, France, the USA or elsewhere whining. The world does not owe you!!!
