Reader comment on item: Israeli Jets vs. Iranian Nukes

Submitted by John R. Peacher (United States), Jun 15, 2007 at 07:03

Israel is a democratic island sitting in the midst of a swamp of fanatics. The nations surrounding her openly state their goal is to destroy this tiny nation and rid the Middle East of all Jews. What further justification does Israel need to defend herself?

After years of futile " land for peace " negotiations, the present situation in Gaza, where murder is in the middle of the streets for all to see, what else has to occur before Israel is given the green light to act in her own defense, uninhibited by the United States and European nations? My advice to Israel is to go for it. Destroy the three sites in Iran before they become fully operational. And while you are at it, save some bombs and help the Americans by swinging by and drop a couple on the terrorist training sites in Iran near the Iraqi boarder where training and supplies are being smuggled into Iraq to murder US Soldiers.

The United States does not have the will to do what is necessary in that regard. Could Israel do us this favor and rescue us from the US Department of State? This Agency seems to be controling the Iraqi War as they did in our mess in South Viet Nam. Free Citizens of the world who realize the danger we face appreciate Israeli assistance in this regard. Our nation's seem to be losing our will to survive.
