If Iran couldn't stand Saddam years back, I dont see them risking their butts against USA+Israel+the rest today. Knowlege cannot be destroyed but the knowlegeable can certainly be eliminated. Iranian skin is not bullet or shell proof unlike their thick skulls.

It's easy to send your neighbour to fight your battles (read Iraq ,Lebanon) , but quite different when you yourself have to take the hit.
