Dear Dan,

You appear to be quite painfully aware that the current Iranian mindset is alarmingly deranged, and that they are on a totally out of order track. Or in your own words: "Yet Iran is not the Japan of 1945. Even carpet-bombing Iran with nukes wouldn't make those people heel, as they're plugged into some eerie other mindset beyond just mere nationalism. A mindset, mind you, that as of yet has not been defined by us Western strategists, either esoterically or otherwise."

Therefore I am wondering what makes you believe that as soon as they acquire the capability to blackmail the world with the doomsday weapon, compounded with their obviously insane fanaticism, they will start behaving……..reasonably?

Just curious.
