I never defended the hindu caste system. I defended the caste system. That is a difference. You did not read carefully.

Human beings are neither equal nor equal-valued. Some human beings are gentle, honest, righteous, humble, modest and decent. They care about others' rights. They are not self-centred. Such human beings form the highest caste and they have to be given special protection. Human beings who have less of these social virtues belong to lower castes and should have lesser rights and protections.

Every religion, ideology and system has its own caste system and apartheid. Islam has it too. For the sake of missionary activity and success some religions and ideologies claim equality as their goal. Islam, christianity, marxism, communism etc. are such ideologies. Even many fascisms build themselves up by claiming to fight for the equality of all within a certain group (race, nation etc.). The hindu religions, and especially the brahmins, are not interested in popularity, populism and missionary activity and hence they are more honest about inequality and hence earn a lot of ridicule and hate. There are some hindu sects that do practise missionary activity and they too are forced to postulate equality of human beings for the sake of missionary success.

Don't be fooled by those who promise equality. They merely wish to garner your support so that they can occupy positions of power and then they will let you down. Honesty is not their virtue. Islam promised equality and captured many souls but today islam is one of the most feudal-tribal class-ridden violence-prone societies. Islam has its caste system too - but no one may talk about it because every muslim wants to keep up the pretension of a caste-less muslim society.

Encourage honesty and not pretensions. Islam means submission, that is mental slavery, and mental slavery is incompatible with honesty. So islam is incompatible with honesty. A missionary ideology can not be honest. It must lie in order to attract the naive and the downtrodden with false-sweet promises.
