Can't imagine D Pipes other than truthfulReader comment on item: Is Tariq Ramadan Lying [about Magdi Allam]? Submitted by ptorpis (United States), Mar 5, 2007 at 23:31 It is a given with people who have a radical agenda--whether of secular or religious origin--that lying is one of the tactics they use. They lie brazenly while vociferously accusing their opposition of lying. They justify lying since they have a "noble" goal, and their end always justifies any means to get to it. Consequently, I am sure Tariq Ramadan is the person not being truthful in this situation. He would like to discredit Daniel Pipes, making him appear less trustworthy and therefore a less effective opponent. Daniel Pipes has no reason to lie. Daniel Pipes continues to be one of the most informed, articulate people presenting the truth about radical Islam and the danger its proponents pose for all of us who want a free and tolerant society. Thanks for being out there, Daniel Pipes. Patricia Torpis Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
