Mr. Gudrun, This may be what Tariq Ramadan wants us to read & believe about his Grand father Hassan Al Banna. Ramadan is well known to sanitize everything to make it more palatable to the western minds. But the reality of the Virulent organization Banna created is some what different. It was the first Muslim terrorist organization of the 20 the century. The Muslim brotherhood has given rise to a number of more militant and violent terror organizations, such as Hamas, Gama al Islamiya, Islamic Jihad and so forth in the years following.

Former Kuwaiti Official Dr. Ahmad Al Rabi, wrote that the "beginnings of all the religious terrorism that we are witnessing today were in the Muslim Brotherhood's ideology.
