100% For the War

Reader comment on item: Saddam's Rap Sheet

Submitted by Ryan Russe (United States), Apr 9, 2003 at 23:34

First of all, let it be known that those who ignorantly believe that war is heinous are completely wrong. Every basis for an anti-war campaign in frivolous in this situation. One may say, war kills, however, so does the evil dictator in Iraq, who has already murdered those in countries around him as well as his own people. He has even been known to torture his country's soccer players if they are defeated. This modern day situation is remarkably similar to Adolf Hitler and any other rapacious tyrant. Nobody should dispute the fact that this dictator should be taken out of power before he harms more people, as he has proven capable and willing to do.
