If Saddam Hussein is so bad because he threatens to acquire WMD and menace his neighbors, then what does that tell us about another dictator whom America is congratulating as a stalwart ally?
I am speaking, of course, about Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan. Musharraf already has WMD, has repeatedly threatened to use it against India and has even invaded India (Kargil, July 99) bypassing his own Prime Minister at that time. In addition, the forces under his direct control and those jihadis not directly under his control have killed tens of thousands of Indians.
If it is the WMD, belligerence against neighbors and massacres that seem to get US' goat, Musharraf has Saddam beat cold. It is time that the US realized that any Islamic dictator with nukes is a threat to all humanity and must value Indian (Hindu) lives as preciously as it values Semitic lives. It is time to end the hypocrisy.
