US may win another Gulf War; but, will lose peace, again.Reader comment on item: Saddam's Rap Sheet Submitted by Bill Bryan (United States), Aug 20, 2002 at 14:11 Our 1990 Islamic and Christian allies are rightly fearful that once a military victory is accomplished in 2002 (?); the US will pussyfoot around and try to mend the Iraqi government in a half assed fashion; or, inexplicably, leave Saddam in power, again.Right now our tough talking Prez Bush reminds me of Prez Wimp Bush by his actions since becoming Prez---Other nations' leaders are watching and are thoroughly disgusted. Again, the only way to quickly get a Christian-Islamic coalition together is to be open with our allies AND IRAQ and show them that we are serious about peace; rip Iraq apart ala spoils of war and divide it amongst the conquerors along traditional ethnic lines. No more Bush family RealPolitk! Sincerely! Bill Bryan Goldwater Conservative Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
