Our so-called allies and friends who refuse to support the U.S. should we decide to attack Iraq, appear to be "hedging their bets". Should we attack and take out his weapons of mass destruction thus making his threat to world peace inert, all of the present dissenters will officially and loudly take a deep sigh of relief. Should we wait to attack until he manufactures a nuke arsenal, however small, AND he gets a chance to use these weapons against us and Israel, these countries will say to him, "Hey, We had no part of this, it wasn"t us." They would feel that they are secure- but it would truly be a false sense of security, because they would all be next- and will fall like dominos. Who, which Nations, other than the U.S., Israel or Britain have the guts to stand up against a nuclear power like Iraq, (should they become one)?
