It's gratifying to see that Ms Hoger has woken up to terrorism.

It would have also been nice to see this attitude when some sections of the US were the primary source of money and support to Irish terrorism in Northern Ireland. I wonder how she would have reacted if someone proposed banning all Irish immigration into the US or the detention in Guantanamo Bay of anyone supporting 'the cause'.

Terrorism is not new and most 'western' states have been both the promulgators and victims of terrorism in the last half century. Even Israel, the victim of a wave of barbarity in recent years, does not have clean hands.

What Ms Unger advocates is hysteria and I'm not aware of anything which has been made better by that ingredient.
