Counting Mosques
Reader comment on item: [Mosque Mischief and] Counting Mosques
in response to reader comment: Counting Trojan Horses

Submitted by Boyd Kidd (United States), Jan 15, 2006 at 00:14

I think my Brother "Ariton Marku" said it quite well

Any self respecting Moslim could care less what the FBI or DOJ does we simply go about or daily life, pray in the Mosque, and reading the Quran.I have read every discription of what is says in the Quran, what a Muslim is or Belives in and what goes on in the Mosques.

I go to the Mosque in Nevada or California, every week, sometimes every day and sometimes 2, 3 or 4 times a day an am left wondering what planet the authors are on or if I am on another planet?

The one differences that I would addres is that Islam is a religion that stresses submission to God (Allah) in every form. It is not about hating other people, it is not about harming others and it is most certaining not against the FBI or the DOJ.

I can understand where Terorists Extreme Politcal Views and Such NEED to be checked and we want that as well. So, we invite the Mosques to be counted, we invited the FBI to set in our prays and to study the Quran, to listen to the speakers and the the Imans.

Not only may they learn the difference between Muslims and Terrorist they may come to understand the religion at minimum
and possilby they may even consider becoming a Muslim.

That speaks for both males and females since there was a lot made of womens positons in Islam. I would suggest that the Prophet Muhammed PBUH set the world standard for Womens Rights 1429 years ago and they have not been matched since and where in the "civilized world". My wife in college educated with a BA Degree in Arabic & Quran Studies, and hold a Teacher Credential and has taught for over 17 years I am proud to say. She is covered, prays five times a day and sendeds her free time with her daughters and granddaughters just like allother women in this society do. Oh, yes...she has, Jewish, Christian and Budhist Friends that she interacts with on almost a weekly basis ...
So please understand, after attending some 6 or 7 different Mosques and not finding what is suggested in any of them ...

Moslims, by in Large, a just like Jews, Christian or people from any other religion
as least for the most part. Admittedly, they are the least understand they speak a funny language Arabic (something that everyone wish they knew right now) and they practice a religion, Islam that is based on the Quran which no one has read or is about to read, yet it is quoted page and paragraph referenced and re-referenced to the world as saying this or that AND...it is not about to be found cover to cover in the Quran they are quoting!

Thank You Very Much
