Secret Weapon

After the 1948 war, an Arab official, after licking his wounds, declared that they had a "Secret Weapon"----and that weapon was "Time." At that juncture in history that weapon had several facets; Time to regroup and rearm; Time to get stronger; And time to let the Palestinian wound fester. Today, that weapon has other aspects; Time to let world opinion turn against Israel; And time to allow a reversal in US relations towards Israel.

In the last several decades of history wars have not been lost or won on the battle field, but in the halls of government. To wit; the US in Vietnam, the USSR in Afghanistan and today in Iraq. So too will the fate of Israel be determined not by the might of the military, but by the strength of politics.
