Better for whom?

As an American Jew, I should be torn. The Republican party is better for Israel, but the Democratic party is better for the US, Then I remember - a few more years of Republican arrogance, mismanagement, corruption, brazen unlawfulness, fiscal idiocy and plundering and the US will not be in a position to do anybody any good - and the conflict resolves itself..
