ACADEMIC ISLAM

"Islam" consists of one primary document, the "Koran", a few questionable so called "Histories", and the remaining body of knowledge is various interpretations,conjectures,proclamarions,and unproveable assertions. How this theosophy rises to the lever of serious intellectual discourse is unbelieveable. When objective discourse can get one labled a racist, phobic,or worse, killed, debate tends to be...cautious. Islam will not change. It is,of course, a system of belief. Unless one is prepared to accept the results, why bother. Obviously the study of shir'ia "Law", which codifies the koranic barbarity vis-a-vis women, slavery, punishment, etc, has attracted some psuedo intellectuals to the cause of Mohammed.
