Let the light shine in

Reader comment on item: What Riyadh Buys [in Washington]

Submitted by B. Murgatroyd (United States), Dec 11, 2002 at 20:15

Many good comments, especially Bercovitch and Ragland. The first problem is sunshine, or lack thereof. The truth can set us free, but powerful and dangerous forces may try to "turn off the light". This is fraught with danger. Try to get a congressional committee on this, maybe Burton, with lots and lots of media attention. I found the idea this is going on in other countries very scary (France, anyone?); some overseas investigation would be useful as well, although probably very difficult and even more dangerous.

Keep on hammering. This is definitely part of the war on terror.
